Sandra Diana quietly slipped into eternity on January 1, 2023, from Farmville Health & Rehabilitation Center in Farmville Virginia. She was born April 1, 1960, in Buckingham County, VA, to Joseph Junior Braxton and Mary Lucy Reid Braxton. Sandra accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age, was baptized, and joined Ridgeway Baptist Church in Dillwyn, VA. She received her education through the Buckingham County Public School System. She loved fishing with her family, going to cookouts, and listening to music. She truly loved spending time with the kids and her family. Sandra was preceded in death by: her parents, Joseph and Mary Braxton; one brother, Bobby Braxton; two sisters, Gayle Winfree and Mildred Joanne Braxton. She leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and dedicated companion of 43 years, Edward Eugene Booker, Sr.; two step-children that she called her own, Edward Booker, Jr and Lester Lee Booker; three brothers, Michael B. Braxton, Thomas W. Braxton, and Frank Reid; one sister, Gladys Lucinda Banks; four great aunts, Elizabeth Chambers, Minnie Campbell, Anna Tolson, and Mary Bolding; two aunts, Beatrice Reed and Frances Foster; one uncle, Curtis Foster; her favorite nephew, Jeremiah B. Winfree; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; and many devoted friends.
