Thomas Elisha Jones was born on August 23, 1941 to Alice Jane Jones in Arvonia, Virginia. He departed this life on Monday, June 26, 2023 at home in Arvonia, Virginia.
His mother Alice J. Jones and his sister, Sarah E. Willliams preceded him in death.
He graduated from Carter G. Woodson High School in Dillwyn, Virginia. He worked at Uniroyal in Scottsville, Virginia for 32 years. He loved to cook and doing hair styling for friends and family.
He leaves behind: one sister, Jean J. Gregory of Scottsville, Virginia and two brothers, John R. Jones of Arvonia, Virginia and Jerry O. Jones of Cumberland, Virginia. He also leaves behind nephews, a niece, cousins and a host of grand nephews and nieces.
