Timothy Wendell Chambers better known as “Timmie” was born January 4, 1965 in Buckingham County to the late Lacy & Mary G. Chambers. He departed this life on May 17, 2022 at UVA in Charlottesville, Virginia. Timmie was baptized at an early age and joined Slate River Baptist Church. He attended Buckingham County Public Schools. Timmie had a heart of gold and loved his family. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Lacy and Mary G. Chambers; one brother, John Chambers and one sister, Pamela Braxton. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Ruth “Tina” Miles; two sons, Timothy Porter and Timothy Chambers; one daughter, Iyanna Chambers; ve grandchildren, Deangelo Porter, Zymeer Porter, Za’kari Porter, Rayjon Miles and Zaeden Chambers; three sisters, Linda Brown, Velma Chambers and Tammie Chambers; three brothers, William Chambers (Mamie), Lacy Chambers and Buddy Chamber, all of Dillwyn, VA; one uncle, William E. Booker (Marion); three aunts, Jannie Jones, Elizabeth Chambers and Nannie Ayres Chambers and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
