Quietly on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, our loved one, Vernon Peaks, went home to be with the Lord. Vernon was born on June 5, 1960 in Newark, New Jersey to Randolph Peaks, Sr. and Lena Lucille Peaks. In 1974, at the young age of 14, he moved to Buckingham County, Virginia. He attended and graduated from the Buckingham County school system. After graduation from high school, he worked at Design Electric. He later started his own business, Vernon Electric. Vernon was a true servant of the community. He volunteered with the Rescue Squad and worked tirelessly with the food bank for many years
