On Thursday, February 18, 2021, Viola Booker Johnson, affectionately known as “Nana”, transitioned from her earthly home to eternal life. Born November 15, 1930 to the late Sam and Florence Randall Booker, she attended the High Rock School, having only completed the 5th grade. Nana accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at the High Rock Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities faithfully until her health began to fail. On March 18, 1950, Nana was joined in Holy Matrimony to Junious C. Johnson, who preceded her in death. To this union, four children were born. Three of which also preceded her in death – Roger, Saundra and Raymond.
