Walter George Croner, also affectionately known as “Frog”, was born September 7, 1972, to Calvin Watson and Hilda Mae Croner. He peacefully departed this life on July 13, 2024, from Lynchburg General Hospital, in Lynchburg, Virginia.

He was a hard-working man, who was employed by Pamplin Sawmill until his health failed. Admired by many, he had a big heart and would help anyone he could. He could tell a story and have you laughing until your stomach hurt. He was really a funny and kind person.

Walter was preceded in death by: his parents, Calvin and Hilda; and nephew, Desmond Croner, Jr. He leaves to cherish his memories: his girlfriend, Serena Parrish; two sons, Treyvon and Xzavier; two sisters, Sheila Croner and Carmela Watson; three brothers, Vincent Watson, Calvin Mosby, and a devoted big brother, Herbert Croner (Denise). He also leaves a devoted cousin, Jerrod Marshall; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Our beloved Walter “Frog” Croner will be greatly missed.
