Walter Thomas Brown “Tee” was born August 17, 1932 to James and
Alice Anderson Brown. He peacefully entered eternity on December 9,
2024 from his Farmville, Virginia residence.
At an early age, he received Christ as his Savior, was baptized, and joined
Calvary Baptist Church of Pamplin, VA. He received his education at the No.
22 School in Prospect, VA (Prince Edward County Public Schools). He retired
from the railroad and as a van driver with the SCOPE.
He was preceded in death by: his wife, Ella Louise Franklin Brown; two young
children, Walter and Brenda Brown; three sisters, Virginia Brown, Lizzie Jones,
and Gladys Epperson; and two brothers, Willie Brown and James Brown, Jr.
Walter was survived by: two daughters, Sharon Wright (Arthur) and Alice
Lee; one son, Kevin Brown, all of Pamplin, VA; five grandchildren, Arthur D.
Wright of Brookneal, VA, Marquitta Scruggs of Pamplin, VA, Shawn Wright,
Jamaica Wright, and Zion Wright of Appomattox, VA; one brother-in-law,
Ronald E. Franklin ( Joan) of Pamplin, VA; two devoted nieces, Estelle Jones
and Shirley Clark (Garland); and a devoted nephew, Lewis Epperson; eleven
great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, Doswell Apartment neighbors, and friends.
