Obituary For William F Johnson

William Franklin Johnson, entered into his eternal home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

He was born on May 26, 1952 to the late William E. and Gladys B. V. Johnson of Dillwyn, VA. At an early age, he accepted Christ and joined Baptist Union Baptist Church, faithfully loving the Lord until his death.

He received his education at the local public schools, where he not only acquired academic knowledge but also developed lifelong friendships. After graduating, he embarked on his professional journey, initially joining Holly Farms. This role provided him with a solid foundation in the workforce, teaching him valuable skills and work ethics that would benefit him throughout his life. His next professional chapter was with Tomac Corps, where he further honed his abilities and contributed significantly to the company.

In addition to his generosity as a handyman, he harbored a passion for family, gardening, and music, with a special fondness for playing the guitar. This hobby was not just a pastime; it was a deep-seated passion that brought him joy and relaxation.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

His legacy lives on through one son William Olando (Michelle) with Janice Johnson; two granddaughters: Kyra and Kimora Johnson; three brothers: James Larry, Ernest Anthony (Patricia), and Alexander Junior (Patrice); and three sisters: Ardell Virginia, Audrey Jean (Howard), and Deborah Ann, all of Dillwyn, VA, and a host of dear nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
