Obituary For William Ollie Wright Sr.
William Ollie Wright Sr. was born September 16, 1935 to the late Alice Edmonds Wright and Percy Wright. He entered eternal rest on December 2, 2025.
William received education in Prince Edward County and was a member of Sulphur Spring Baptist Church in Prospect, Virginia. A hard worker, William was a mechanic with Kyanite Mining Co.
He was preceded in death by: his parents. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Rowena Wright-Smith, Jane Hubbard, and Ollie Wright Jr.; step children, Aretha Thurman, Jason Hix, Amy Dove and Juanita Spencer; grandchildren, Cordelia Alexander, James Morgan, III, Aurelia Morgan - Roberson, Shannon Gilliam and Lashonda Gilliam; great-grandchildren, Aiden Alexander, Ava Alexander, Kaylee Alexander, Layla Bright, Giovonni Wright and Lariah Gilliam; sister, Lillie Mae Cumman; his ex-wife, Esther Watson Wright; in-laws, Paul Thurman, Keith Hubbard, Javon Alexander. Destiny Morgan, Laquan Roberson, Shawn Smith and Levina Wright; and a host of other relatives and friends.
