Willie Coney Kidd, Sr. entered eternity from Centra- Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Virginia on December 2, 2022. He was born January 17, 1933 in Buckingham County, VA. He was the son of the late Ida and Joe Kidd. He was married to the late Dorothy May Kidd. Willie loved working on cars and fixing on things around the house. He loved to eat on his candy or just to have sweets around to munch on. He also loved to watch his western movies when he was at home. He enjoyed being around his family and spending time with them. Willie was predeceased by: all of his brothers and sisters, Henry Kidd, Johnny Kidd, Freddy Kidd, Tom Kidd, Pearl Kidd, Ellen Kidd, and Lucia Bransford; his daughter, Edna V. Boatwright; and a son, William Randolph Kidd. He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Dorothy M. Kidd; two sons, Edward E. Booker and Willie Kidd, Jr.; daughter- in-law, Sandra D. Braxton; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many devoted friends.
