Obituary For Willie Hazel Miser

Wille Hazel Miser, of Prince Edward County, went from labor to reward on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 19, 1936. A native of Prospect Virginia, the daughter of the late Walter Lewis and Rosa B. Davis. Hazel committed her life to Christ at an early age. She was a devoted servant of Mount Moriah Baptist Church there she served as an active member of the missionary, choir member, deaconess, and in various auxiliary roles.

Hazel was a dedicated employee during her 40 plus years of employment. She exemplified great work ethics. Always encouraged education, and strongly believed in doing the best that one could, in all things.

Hazel was a true missionary at heart. She frequently visited friends and love ones to provide caregiving and support. Her home was always welcoming to family as well as strangers. Her passion was cooking, gardening, and sharing delicious meals with those who visited her home. She was an exceptionally loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and caregiver. She easily made friends, whom she held dear to her heart, including lifelong friends, Roberta Ferguson and Helen Walker. To know her was to love her.

Hazel was predeceased by her loving husband, William J. Miser, whom she shared over 35 years in dedicated matrimony. Predeceased siblings: Leon Davis (infant), Warren Lee Davis, Walter Monroe Davis, Raymond Francell Davis, Elsie Marshall Jones. Predeceased sisters- in-love: Estelle Davis, Sarah Miser Whiting, Theresa Miser McEleree: Brothers-in-love, Bobbie, Pete, Gene, Ronnie, Lawerence, Robert, and Stanley Miser.She is survived by her sisters-in-love, Mae Davis, Myrtle Davis, Alma (Ronnie) Miller, Verne Barnett, and Sarah Miser.

Left to cherish her memories are her children: Shirley (Malvin, Sr) Eanes, Robert (Veronica) Davidson, Ronald (Tammie) Davidson, Raymond (Deborah) Davidson, Darion (Curtis) McNeil, one bonus son Ivan (DeeDee) Miser, one bonus daughter Sheila (Charles) Scott. Fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
