Willie Tranza “Shorty” Jennings peacefully and quietly went to sleep June 11, 2020. He was born January 3, 1935 to parents, Joshua Lynn Jennings and Isabell M. Jennings. He attended school in Nottoway County and graduated from Luther H. Foster High School in June, 1954. While in school, he enjoyed playing football and baseball. After high school he served briefly in the Army and was honorably discharged.
